LEAP at Lutherock
The weekend outdoor adventure program is Lutherock’s customized and high adventure program weekends. Let the Lutherock staff care for all your group needs from meal service, to adventure, to devotions. To begin planning your LEAP, contact Van--email or call Van at 828-209-6303.
LEAPs at Lutherock are perfect for Youth Groups, college groups, and school groups looking for time away in a wilderness setting to build community, experience God’s creation, and enjoy the thrill of outdoor adventure.
Programs can be customized. The typical outline of the weekend is:
Friday night: Arrive at Lutherock after dinner, build community through staff led initiatives, crank
homemade ice cream, campfire, devotions.
Saturday morning: Breakfast adventure activity
Saturday afternoon: Lunch and adventure activity continued
Saturday evening: Dinner, initiatives, Campfire
Sunday morning: Breakfast, worship
Group minimum 12 (price varies depending on housing option selection as well as adventure activities.)
Adventure Activities can include:
- Whitewater rafting on the Nolichucky River
- Hiking on the Lutherock property
- Rock-climbing on the Lutherock Property (includes hike)
- Caving
- Intermediate or Advanced Ropes Course
- Group Interaction Course—no additional charge
- Alpine II Climbing Tower
